Rail Canada Vol 3, Canadian Pacific Diesel Paint Schemes, has been re-released in a new colour format. While I have a well worn version of the original hard cover version, author Don Lewis has done the readers a great service by releasing the new version as a wire bound, high quality book more suitable to the research a book like this is used for. The new version is all colour, a significant improvement over the original black and white. The photographs, which are much sharper that the often muddy black and white of the original. In many ways this a completely new work. It also weighs in with an additionally 20 pages of material. Printed on high quality acid free paper, it is available in either Hardcover or Coil binding that allows it to lie flat when open. This version of Vol 3, improves significantly on the work started with the older version and should be on every CP modellers book shelf.
